Arrow Spark Plugs for 2001 ??

I have a 2001 PT Limited - not the Turbo engine. What are the best spark plugs to use on this model? I have 98,000 miles on the vehicle of which 90% was city miles.

What is the best spark plugs to use?

What else is there good to change as a tune up item at this point. Without breaking the bank.

Thanks for your help.

I take it you've changed the plugs before this at your mileage? What did you use then and why not go with the same?

Did you change plug wires at the last plug change?

If by any chance you bought the Pt used and don't know the history, then plugs AND wires is the way to go. A lot of us used Champion Double Platinum #7570 and as for wires, almost anything will do except Chrysler's normal wires that duplicate what originally came with the car. The MOPAR Performance wires are good, I've used them at my first change and they lasted a long time without a problem.

Now for the big question; have the timing belt been changed. They are due right now at your mileage and depending on your bank (which you don't want to break) it will run you anywhere from $800 to $1200 depending on the hourly rate for labor from the person you have change them. Along with the belt, the water pump, belt tensioner and both drive belts should be changed also. They would be included with the price I quoted.

You asked a question, got a answer, so now you are wondering if something is better? Why didn't you do a search and find out your answer?

Very expensive choice. IMHO irridium plugs are overpriced and overhyped. Oh well, the name "irridium" sounds cool. For the na PT I'd go with the Bosch doulble plats. Great plugs and they last a long time.
