Default P1864/P1865

My 2003 PT started up this morning and was able to get me where I needed to be, but when I came back later to go home it bucked a little bit like it was turning over wrong and gave me a P1864 and P1865 error code on the dash. I don't know how serious this is and would like some direction please.

Default Re: P1864/P1865

Welcome to the forum.

P1864 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit

P1865 4-5 Shift Solenoid (SS) Valve Control Circuit High Voltage

I also found a non-pacific OBDII trouble code list with these:

P1864 Transmission Transfer Case Contact Plate Power Short To Battery

P1865 Transmission Transfer Case Contact Plate Power Short To Ground

Personally, I'd take the negative battery cable off for about 5 minutes. That will clear the trouble codes and reset the computer. Then see if those codes come abck up.
