Question 2006 PT Touring front end bushings/links

Hi,

I researched this and can't find to many pictures before I get in there. I hate to pay someone $300-400 labor. Is there a sticky on this? What brands are good replacements parts for a non-turbo 5 spd, so they last longer and don't squeak every 30K. Are the endlinks difficult to install? Does the sway bar need to come off for the bushing replacement?

Thanks for your help this forum has been a life saver!!!!

Just loosened the control arm thru bolts.
Thought the trusty Snap-On breaker bar was going to break.
True to form the bushings are rusted to the bolts, so while they'll loosen,
they won't come out.

My fav all-American replacement part, Moog, was made in China.

Tomorrow, we see if the bushings will be more agreeable.

Uptown had to replace my bolts as well when I did the lower control arms, you are looking at about $7.00 a piece from the stealership. I prefered to go with the OEM part as it is a suspension part and safety is a concern.
