Default idle stumble

yes i know they are countless threads on this. changed my plugs again yesterday. went from autolite iridium to the champion double plats 7570. changed the pcv valve as well. checked all hose lines and replaced the pcv hose. vacuum line is tight. still i get a small stumble at idle. if in park its not bad, but when my foot is on the brake at a stop it stumbles pretty bad. ran some sea foam through the gas tank to see if it clears it out. any other suggestions?

Clean idle air controller (carbon build up)or replace if necessary. Clean throttle body. I did this and helped out alot.

You didn't say anything about changing your plug wires.

yeah went with autolite premiums. i'm not a n00b at changing the plugs and wires and i do my research. my neighbor thinks it is a vacuum leak somewhere. inspected all hoses and all are good to go. next thing i will try is replacing the rubber gaskets on the upper and lower intake manifold. maybe they have worn out.

Spray starting fluid along intake manifold seams - if idle smooths out, it proves there's a bad intake gasket.
