Default Head Lamp Adjustment

What direction facing the head lamp, adjusts the light beam up. My low beams seem to be very low compaired to my 2002 Concourd.

I have read this info, but didn't see which direction (clockwise or conterclockwise) to turn the T-20 to move the beam up.

You can't just move the beam up without following the aiming and alignment procedure.
You have to measure the lamps on a wall.

Turning them without following the tech data won't get them to the proper spot.
The alignment specs are very specific.
I've found that most PTs I service need some minor tweaking of the headlamps and fog lamps.

I have not checked my lights but I can tell you my 03 Gt has the best lights I have ever used! The low beams are about like the high beams on my other cars and the high beams turn night into mid-day!

What if you dont have a t-20 Tork. What other tool can you use.[:I]
My headlights suck, they point about 15 feet infront straigth to the ground. I really need to adjust them. Why'd they make it so hard to do. Unless its really not and I just can't find what Im looking for.

Buy a set of Torx wrenches - I have a set that has 6 or 8 that open like a pocket knife - it was cheap. All cars seem to be using them - particularlty around head and tail lights.

not positive, but my other vehicle the screw was at the top, therefore if you tighten the screw it would push the top of the light in thus raising it.

Buy a set of tork wrenches, follow the alignment procedures. If you turn it cw and the beam goes down then turn it ccw to have the beam go up.

irpt just read the service manual and you are correct the alignment screws are below so turning the screw CW would thus bring the bottom of the headlight in, lowering the beam.

p.s. don't rais it to high or you risk blinding other drivers....
