Smile What's the best plug and wire combo.

Hello, I recently purchased a 2008 PT Touring non turbo. The performance is adequate to say the least. The odometer shows 41,204 and I was told to replace the stock plugs and wires. Since this is gonna be my "Babygirl" for years to come, I want the treat her right. Can anyone suggest the best spark plug and wire combo and any other performance related changes to make?

Welcome Papa Smurf, Champion or Autolite (gap @ .040) any wires except stock wires, Chrysler Performance wires are OK, Crane wires like I used are no longer available.

I have a 2006 base and would like the best info to. So it looks like the Champion #7570 or NGK #4306 for plugs and anything except the stock stuff for wires?

Should I bother with performance wires? 29.99 for regular wire set or 79.99 for performance. If I am doing it myself and saving the labor cost I figure I can splurge for higher quality if it will make a difference.

anything but stock wires will do nicely. i don't think spending the extra $50 will make a difference.

What do you think of the Bosch Platinum+4 plugs. Looks like we are not to adjust the gap on these.

don't bother, even tho there's four prongs the spark connected to them one at a time.

OK.

Who sells NGK?

There was a time when I was able to be in thier factories and thought they were thorough about all the details.

i think napa sells the ngk's. the champion double plats are the best bang for your buck, imo.
