Default Engine transplant success . Thanks for the help.

Have transplanted a low mileage 2002 engine into my 2003 PT. Had to splice in the ECM loom for the engine and obtain the SKIM and key from the donor. Fired up perfectly first time. Only had a slight heat high temp issue, but discovered that the Rad fan is faulty (probably why the original motor cooked). Just got to re-insulate the loom and off we go -time for the custom paint job. Wey hey!!!

Thanks for UptownSport and KREWZIN the links for the manuals and advice.

What did you do about EGR? 2002 had it, 2003 didn't.

The heads are the same. Drill or use the EGR block as needed.

(Cheap plug, I have this for sale!
