Default Alternator Voltage PT 2006

Anyone know what the alternator voltage output is is for a 2006 pt?

When the car is running what is a normal voltage range when I check it at the battery terminals?

Thanks for any help.

other sites say between 13.5 and 16 is acceptable. they say an average is 14.2.

I'm running mine at 14.6, really brightens up the headlights, keeps the stereo crisp and clear.

Chromenut,

Are you using an external regulator? If so, do you have one that you recommend? I've been considering doing this for some time since I run a ton of electronics.

Thanks!

/endthreadjack - my apologies

Wish it was that easy for me, I have an 01 NA, so I may check into an external regulator.

Thanks Chromenut!
