Default Broken motor mount (Not torque struts)

So I have a broken motor mount on the passenger side. The entire engine is about 3 inches lower on the passenger side. It looks like the bolt broke on the frame mounted motor mount the goes into the engine, causing the engine to drop substantially. I am going to take it apart this weekend to see what is going on, but I know that I am going to have to raise the motor with a jack to get it positioned correctly. Now, in all the reviews I've read on here about replacing the torque struts, it mentions to be very careful in not raising the motor when installing the upper and lower passenger side struts. I purchased a lower and upper torque strut and a new motor mount. I plan on just replacing all three as they must not be in very good shape. How do I check for correct positioning during replacement? Any tips? I have a service manual coming in the mail, but would appreciate any advice so I can get started on fixing it this weekend.

Engine mount isn't appreciably positionable.
It sits where it sits.

Torque struts are the same, I don't think you can change position or tension
appreciably, at least on my '01.

Have fun!!!!!

Ok. Not sure why the other threads mentioned motor alignment when putting in new torque struts. This is my only post on this topic, not double post.

I'm sure you're correct. Just did this, upper front goes into pass motor
mount bracket, recall a captive nut or something, vaguely.

Bottom front goes into the AC mount, rear into the K-member.

Only one I'm unsure about is then the upper's rear.

There's links to the factory manuals, wouldn't have to rely on my memory!!!!

There are three mounts on the passenger side. Top, middle (in frame), and bottom.

Top and bottom are easy to get to. To get the middle one out, you'll have to have the engine out or timing belt out.

Make sure the replacement mount has the same depth as your original mount before install.

Watch out for Anchor motor mounts.

Great. It's the middle one that needs fixed! I really don't want to have to pull the engine. I also bought Anchor torque struts! Thanks for the help.

Have never, ever heard of the pass side mm breaking. I'm not talking about the torque struts, either. For that mount to go out both torque struts would have to break loose first. I don't know what you are seeing cause there is no way for the engine to drop 3". The top torque strut would have to tear from the frame to drop 3". I just went and looked at that mm on my srt 'cause you can actually see it. That is one stout mm. Four bolts bolting the mount to the frame and one large bolt into the engine. I think you are wrong. Pictures please.

He said bolt sheared.

never heard of this, either, but in automobiles, ANYTHING can and will happen.

I sincerely doubt he's making anything up about the engine dropping 3"
on pass side. The bracket is specifically made to let the engine drop w/o
the bolt, I assume this is to aid powertain installation during assembly.

BTW, the torque arms don't support the engine whatsoever.
Likely the pass axle's resting on K-frame
