Default Dual Exhaust

I want to put dual exhaust on my 2003 P.T (no turbo), Can you help me pick one?. I've been looking at the Borla exhaust.

Thanks the Grossman

I've had the Borlas for about 2 years now. They're the Mopar version and I had them installed by my dealer (no warranty problems that way). I love 'em to death - they have a nice deep sound, but aren't loud enough to encourage the townfolk to chase after me with flaming torches!

Horsepower gains? Who knows? I can say that acceleration through the gears is much smoother with 'em - no hesitation at shift points!

I'd say to look long and hard at the BTG dual - it has a "Y" split to divide the exhaust evenly between left & right - the Bassani, Borla, ... "dump" all exhaust into muffler, then route "back" to passenger side. I have Bassani, revved side-to-side with friend's BTG - his wasn't lounder, but deeper & sounded better. Wyckoff Chrysler sells them - part number begins with BTG. I'd also stick with stainless - worth the extra $. The Borla, Bassani & BTG are all stainless.

I agree with Nova69, reduces hesitation, but I did AirAid at same time, so hard to say which contributed most. I'd also say that I'm convinced that a good single is at least as good as a dual on the PT - dual is for looks only over a single exhaust - my opinion.

I just took the Borla duals (2.5") off my PT. I had it for ~1 1/2 yrs. Great system. No drone, nice deep rumble, loved everything about it. Had to take it off because needed to go with a complete 3" system for my mods.
BTW, I will be putting it up for sale very soon, for a reasonable price.

I have the BTG cat/back system sitting under the Christmas tree, won't know for a couple of weeks how they sound but the feedback I have gotten is that they are very good. It kills me everytime I walk past that box, I am dying to install them.

BTG sounds like what I want as well. Anyone know the pricing on the parts, where is the best place, and how much/hard to install.

One more thing, even flow is the way to go. There is noting more discourageing then to see a car with duals and most the exhaust is coming out of one of the pipes more then the other. Just my opinion.
