Default Where are all the grounds located on the PT

Any one have a ground schematic? Or any electrical schematic for the grounds. I have a service manual on cd but NO electrical or troubleshooting sections, Like in other manuals that I own.

Im getting static shocked now as I exit & enter the car all of a sudden and wanting to check my grounds. I did spray the engine intake down with wd 40 searching for any leaks. Could that be a possibility?

Don't remember seeing any kind of single schematic with the ground wires pointed out. Each of the electrical schematics for particular parts like rear/front lighting, window and doors, brakes etc. all have their own ground somewhere.

A lot of us a few years back jumped on the bandwagon when everyone was talking about hyper-grounding. From the negative post on the battery, we ran grounding wires to different parts of the engine bay. I ran grounding wires to the computer, the Camshaft sensor bolt to the engine block and the body itself.

Yes that sounds good. I did my Buick like that.

What about a sensor location chart?

Or would you have to just look in the index per ea. sensor and look for the location of ea. sensor like that?

Go to the tech and performance forum on this site. In there candyman has a sticky listing online parts manuals. Select your year and download. It may take awhile as these things can be quite large.

Online Parts Manual's 2001 - 2007

The parts manual is full of exploded schematics showing sensor locations etc
Very easy to follow.

Ooooo NICE! Thanks. I thought I tried those downloads a year or two back and didn't think they work for whatever reason. Now they do thanks. I have something very similar to this on cd.rom.

Thanks Crewzin ,yes it is quicker to ask on this forum. I found the crank & cam sensor & a few others.
