Default o2 housing

Do I have to change the 02 housing pipe. In order to run a 3in down pipe. Or will it just hook up to the stock Come housing

You can hook up an aftermarket 3" downpipe to your regular housing, but you won't see the full potential of your 3" downpipe/exhaust.

Here's the stocker (ignore timestamp) -

Here's my MaxxFabs 3" housing prior to installation -

The two side by side -

I will say that, if your bolts aren't completely rusted to hell and you've got the required tools/extension and buddy to help you...it's still going to be a painful experience. Expect 4+hours.

Took my mechanic +5hrs for downpipe+o2 housing, but I know the owner+son and they charged me what you'd pay for a month's electric bill

^^^ Yes, it most certainly is.

Keep in mind that with the restrictions you're getting rid of in your exhaust, it's going to get alot louder. I had a muffler delete on mine and after I swapped out for a 3" o2 housing and 3" catless downpipe it was loud as hell!

Got a 20" long Magnaflow Resonator installed immediately after the DP and it really quieted things down. At idle, it sounds like I've got a V8
