Default Screech from front driver side wheel

Looking through the forum i have seen that this in some way has been posted a few times but not straight forward answer. At a certain position going straight the wheel makes a screech when i turn right same thing but left nothing quiet as can be. The mechanic i work with does not think its the bearing, i have replaced the breaks and the noise goes away and slowly comes back. Has anyone else had this and if so did replacing the bearing take care of it?

Has the mechanic driven it? He should be able to pinpoint it. Could it be power steering belt screech? You do brakes yourself? Sure the metal shims that the pads sit on aren't rubbing?
