Default battery

Can anyone tell me how to remove the air box so that I can replace my battery? Thanks to those who replied. The batt box pulls straight up FIRMLY to disengage the 'barbs'underneath which engage two rubber grommets. Simple when you know how!

Look in the guides section of www.ptdiy.net

Any PT question is already answered there.

MX-5 has posted several times about PTDIY. If you haven't done so already you should check out this web site. There is a ton of information, how to's, TSB info, Q&A and a lot more! IMHO it is the first PT site you should go to when you get your PT, browse the whole site, especially info concerning you model PT.

DaveK, here is the link to PT DIY which explains battery removal: http://www.ptdoityourself.net/pttechlib22.html#550

IRPT,

How do you think I make it look like I know so much about the PT?

Any question is already answered over there. I just use the search button and then paste the answer here.

MX-5, I know what you mean. PTDIY is a great resource, I use it all the time myself.

Hey, let's give credit where it's due - I know you've written some of those DIY guides, and I, for 1, am grateful.[?]
