Welcome to the forums.
Go somewhere else. If it's normal, why did it just start doing it?
Have dealer go over transmission carefully.
If THEY say it's normal, ask to drive the PT demo - I'll bet it won't do it.

2003ptcrusierbrusier, welcome to the forum, ditto what quicksilverdon said. You did not say if the shops you took it to where Chrysler dealers?

No, mine is smooth. It seems like something may be slipping internally. Is it auto or stick?

I test drove an '03 Gt autostick the other day, it had a vibration in the steering wheel, at say 20-45 mph the wheel shook, I told the salesman, and even showed him the wheel shaking, he said he'd have it fixed, but this all was in drive, not reverse. The GT had 11k on the odometer and the tires seemed low in the front, but, if it was to be fixed, there gonna call me in for a second test drive, Maybe I'll end up with a black 03GT, whoknows what the other dealer's gonna do, the one who's had my deposit for 90days and can't finance me, but won't give me my $$ back.

Hope the New Year 'sorts' it self out, soon. Happy New Year to yaall

Try the lower engine mount.
It will vibrate really bad untill it gets worse.
Put the E-Brake on w/ the hood up and put it under a load.
In drive. I mean give it the gass while somebody looks at the
motor. If it moves alot then that's the problem.
LOWER MOTOR MOUNT.
I found out the hard way. Part costs about $45.00
Easy to replace with a shop lift & a trany jack.
Two bolts.
