Default Adding Cruise Control and Fog Lights

I just picked up a base 06 PT Convertible.

It doesnt have the cruise control nor the fog lights.

I can get the factory retrofit kits. It looks like they come with new stalks, servo for the cruise, lamps and sockets for the fogs, wiring overlays etc

I guess once you install you have to have the dealer use starscan to active the modules so they will function.

Anyone on here ever do this? If so any issues.

I may also look into the remote start kit too.

I put the factory fog light kit on the wifes. Went back and forth on using aftermarket lights but but the time you buy the fog light surrounds, switch, relay, etc.. its about the same price for factory kit (check ebay chrysler dealers under $150 shipped, your local dealer may even match the price)

Check behind your fog light blanks i bet the wire is allready there. I havent heard of anyone having to use the wire harness that comes with the kit yet.

I had to convince local dealer that it only takes 10mins. to add the fog lights in the computer so it only was $35 instead of the standard 1 hour rate.

I almost bet its the same to enable cruise as well but you would need the throttle and cruise canister to complete it.
