Question HELP!!

I have a PT2006 Touring convertible.
It loses it's power sometimes when I am driving. It just kind of goes silent and no pick up at all then it becomes normal again.
I've had it checked but nothing ever shows up as being wrong or abnormal...
I did have some engine problems back awhile but that is supposed to have been fixed...
Any ideas anyone???
