Default error codes p0340 and p1299

I have a 2001 PT LE coming back from a visit in louisiana my timing belt broke doing 70mph i had it towed to the nearest town which was 25 miles away then next day a friend of mine got his trailor and towed it back to my dads house in baton rouge any way i had my friend replace the timing belt, water pump he got everything up and running car runs great but i was curious to see if any codes were stored in computer so i did the key dance and found these 2 codes PO0340 which i know is the camshaft position sensor and a P1299 which my code program on my home computer says is MFG control fuel air metering, i looked in the error code sticky but did not find this code there. Just what is the fuel air control metering? Im hoping that these 2 codes will not come back since the timing belt has been replace, i cleared the codes using my code reader. I guess my question is would these codes appear when the belt breaks? Yes i lucked out on not having bent valves

P1299 is actually 'Vacuum Leak Found (IAC Fully Seated)'. Essentially the MAP sensor isn't correlating to the TPS signal, and the PCM is suggesting there may be a vacuum leak that's causing this. Do you have any idle issues? If not, it could've happened when the belt snapped, and I wouldn't expect it to come back.

Thanks chris for the reply, no im not having any idle issues the car is running great now, i will be changing the plugs and wires this weekend, i figure that since the old timing belt was the original chrysler belt that the plugs were most likely never changed. Will repost after changing them. Again thanks for your reply Ken
