Default Who has the better brake rotor?

Who has the better brake rotor? I have a Turbo GT. The dealer wants $93 per front rotor. Napa wants $41 per. Is the Chrysler rotor twice as good as Napa’s?

I've talked to Adam from the rotorshop before. He's a really kool guy. his rotors are zinc coated or something like that and they some uncut. so just let him know if you want slot's or holes, or if you want both, he'll charge you the same price, doesn't matter which design you go with.

I just put a pair of ATE Premium One rotors on the front of my car with HAWK HPS pads three weeks ago. Stopped great with that combo up front. Last week I put a pair of Brembo 27227 Rotors, not drilled, slotted or any other crap. They stop really great. The also don't make the thumping noise that the ATE's did when braking hard. Sure wish Tire Rack had carried the Brembo's for the PT from the beginning. Anyone want a pair of ATE Premium Ones with 450 miles on them in perfect condition let me know. I am still dealing with Tire Rack support and ATE on the problem, hopefully I can return them.

As for your question, the Napa's are probably Wagner, they used to be a really good name brand, will work fine for non spirited drivers. They are probably made in China. The dealers could be the same, you will have to check it out. The ATE's I have were made in China also, but of a better steel than the Wagners. The Brembos are made in Brazil also of a better steel than the Wagners. I have wagners on my truck from Napa and I use Brembo and Zimmermans on the VW.

Napa has more than one part # - they offer different prices - is that their most expensive rotor?

Napa only lists one front rotor.

You can get good Brembo roters or yopu can get cheap Chinese ones. I think you get what you pay for. The Brembos are much heaver and last a lot longer.
