Default N/A PCV system

I yanked the intake off last night on my new to me 06 PT. It only has 4400 miles.

I am amazed at the amount of oil in the runners and a film build up at the base of the Throttle body.

I can only conclude is the PCV valve allows a lot oil vapaors to be pulled in.

I changed the plugs and put some new MP Wires on hence the reason for the removal.

My 03 GT turbo was bone dry but the PCV valve on the turbos is on the opposite side.

I also cleaned the Throttle body but it was very clean save a little film of carbon on the blade.

Anyone with a NA engine notice the same problem? I have no clue what kind of oil was used, it was factory oil and the oil was changed once at 2500 miles so I guess bulk 5w-30 from the dealer.

I may look into a catch can splice in the PCV line to coelesque the oil vapor.

Anyone run a catch can??
