I have these spark plugs and granatelli wires from modern performence. Today i gapped them to.038. I noticed that they do not have crush gaskets to go with them. Are they needed ? Im planning on putting them in today. I have a 03 Gt

Chromer, you don't need the crush gaskets on the PT. But make sure you torque the plugs to 156 INCH pounds (or 13 FOOT pounds) ... same thing.

Use never seize on the threads or when you go to remove them it will be like they welded to the head.

If you mean the 5 bolts holding the intake manifold on, the INCH pounds is 105. And don't go over that or you'll regret it.

Okay, changed out my plugs and wires. Valve cover gasket, im thinking there are gaskets that's in the valve cover for the plugs right. When i pulled the plugs the ends were dry, but the threads had oil on them. Number 1 and 3 hole. Number 1 2 3 nice burn, number 4 a little white. Need to replace valve cover gaskets right ?

They're called spark plug well seals. Go ahead and change them if you like. I had a bit of oil, but let them be. It was no big deal.

Believe me, if it's a valve cover gasket you'll know! Smoke everywhere, constant smell of burned oil, puddles around the head of the plugs. Doubt very seriously it's that gasket. I think Frodo hit it, I have a similar issue but so light it's not worth messing with it right now.

Too much information!! I am going to change the plugs and wires. I bought the Granatelli wires and am confused as to which plugs and the proper gap for a TURBO.
