other turbochargers?
Ok I know very very little about turbochargers, just the basics. My question is : Is it possible to use another model turbocharger on a stock 2.4 liter engine, say a KKK cheater turbo from a porsche 944?[8)]
a mechanic friend of mine has one laying around his shop, i think he can also hook me up with a td04, still looking into that. I'd just like to get a heads up from someone who really knows turbos, last thing i want is to blow the head clear off my engine [:0]

You better look up Bob Stockum. He is the resident turbo guru for non-turbo models that wannabe.

You should sell that car privately and save the extra money for a Hann turbo, or something like that.
The custom fabbing you would have to do around an aftermarket turbo may be a bit pricey. We'll talk...

Yeh girl, the more i think about it, it could be way more headache then i wanna deal with. piping, electronics, and then...will it work? who knows. This is my daily driver too so i cant have it sitting in a shop.
