Default Lower Control Arm RH appearance Q:

Just received a new lower control arm RH for upcoming upgrades. The bolt-like end of the LCA appears to be bent with the bushing around it skewed. Can someone tell me if this is by design or a damaged part? Attaching pictures.

I'm pretty sure it should be straight, I had just ordered mine from rock auto and don't remember it being bent like that.

Never mind I just read it's suppose to swivel

Bolt should be straight and no "skewing". I'd get replacements one way or the other. I also got mine from rockauto.com. Infact I've gone to getting most everything that isn't a "need it now" thing from there.

Just receive LH from UPS it was bent as well, but I was able to move both to a straight position with some effort. All parts are in now except for the Toc shocks, backordered. Can't wait to complete phase 1 of upgrades on new PT ltd! Thanks for your reassurance.

Yeah...I heard the Tokicos are in backorder everywhere. I guess I should sell mine soon ( I'm changing them for coilovers )

Wow. i guess people just don't understand how things work-
It has to be able to move (similar) to that or it wouldn't do
what it's supposed to do.

Perhaps the 'how things work' site would be a good primer b4 repairs.

Is it a Moog ball joint????????????????
