Default please help, car shutting off

I have a 2003 PT Cruiser that has about 95K miles on it, it is an automatic. A couple months ago the code P0441 came on, but I have had no issues with it. The last 2 days my car has been shutting off while I am driving, it will turn right back on after it does this. Other times, I am driving and all of my gauges and my radio will shut down and go crazy, but the car still runs. I ran the code again and now it is P0700. Any ideas on what it could be would be awesome. Thanks. I also want to say it seems to happen more often when I am at an idle, but it does also happen while driving but doesn't completely shut off.

I've read of weak batteries causing PT's to act possessed, have it testes at a local auto parts place they will most likely to it for nothing.

Make sure all your connections to the battery are snug and that the battery isn't wobbling around. If that is all good I would check the alternator. My 06 did similar things when that was going out.

A loose or corroded battery connection can cause random shutoff. It'll be fine when parked but as soon as you hit a bump in the road the cable will jiggle around and cause the engine to cut off.

Just diagnosed and repaired that problem in my friend's old Accord the other week. Make sure your battery terminals are clean and the cable is nice and snug. If there is a lot of corrosion you may need to replace the terminal.
