Smile cold start shudder solved!!!

Hi everyone,
I have found the problem of my cold start shudder in my pt. It turns out it was the battery. The symptoms of a bad battery began on saturday. I noticed it was turning over slower with every start, and i'm shocked I was able to start it at the grocery store yesterday. We had a party yesterday for father's day, and i left to pick up my grandma and grandpa, and when i turned the key all the lights came on like normal, but the PRND and OAT led's were dim. I turned the key and it just clicked, it also gave my fuel gauge a spazim. My dad called AAA and within 20 minutes they were at my house and putting in a new battery. Anyways, now it starts up like brand new, it cranks over very quickly, and i have also noticed my lights are brighter! Also, I have to give credit to that Mopar battery. The regular life span is 2-5 years, and my PT is about 4 1/2. I'm a very happy camper! Also, to all you father's out there: Happy (late) Fathers Day!

Thanks,
Hayden

I have the original battery in my '05 with 96,000 + miles on it - I know I'll need a new one before winter....
