I;ve heard the BTG duals and I like them better than the Bassani - it's deeper.
Can't comment on single. If you have AirAid, Momma should eb okay - AirAid makes more noise.

The BTG Axle-Back Single for the GT has some heavy drone between 65 and 75ish if you're on the throttle. And I don't mean punching it, just normal driving. I've heard it mellows a bit once you've got a few thousand miles on it, I've only put about 1200 on it so far. I'm happy with it but if it doesn't mellow a bit I may end up picking up the rest of the piping (which includes a resonator) from BTG which is supposed to lower the sound a bit. Conversation was difficult at times during my holiday highway time with the drone as strong as it was.

Edit: I also have the Airaid - I really only notice it during acceleration.

Beacon, do you have the autostick? I have a 5-speed and the BTG axleback doesn't drone on the freeway. My wife and I can have a normal conversation. Believe me, she would mention it if there was (though it would do no good as it's my GT [8)]).

Ive said this before and will continue to . I feel the best exhaust for your money is a tuneable exhaust for a stock motor PT. May it be a Bassani or any other brands which there are many with removeable baffles . You get the best of both worlds no guessin if it might be to noisy after u buy.U can buy a tuneable muffler at most tuner shops for 125.00.
