Default 2005 PPT Cruiser Still Stumbles after lots of work done.

Hey All, I have been referencing this site me and my wife bought a brand new pt cruiser in 2005 when we had our first kid.

It has 100,000 miles on it right now had it serviced under warranty for awhile but after that did my own work mostly except timing belt /water pump.

Basically it has had a idle issue and stumbles. I cannot figure out how to cure it. sometimes its worse than other s which leads me to believe its a sensor going in and out into the main box maybe. I have tried other tips I have found on this site.

One issue did start back when I changed my own plugs/wires for preventive and it would not run right until I put MOPAR orginal new wires on and the recommended plugs.

* Camshaft position sensor changed
*CKP sensor Changed
*Timing belt/waterpump/rad fan/ Professionally changed
**air filter K&N Clean
*Plugs /MOPAR wires changed

I am assuming its a spark issue since it stumbles on accleration sometimes worse than others.

Any Ideas Everyone????
My 1973 beetle runs better than this thing has for 5 years!

Has the car always acted this way? If so I would start by closing up the gap in the spark plugs slightly.
Have you ever cleaned the throttle body? If not get some tb cleaner spray, pull the tb off and clean it out good.

Is your CEL on? Even if it's not, it'd be worthwhile to check for active and stored codes. Most any auto parts store can perform that service for free.

...or just follow the instructions we have on the forum and get the codes yourself.

How to retrieve fault codes.

Is it stumbling only at idle and right off idle, or even while cruising/accelerating?

Had tons of advance auto cpu test done always saying " cylinder #3 misfire" or "cylinder # 1 misfire" Dealership used to just blow me off and say they reprogrammed my cpu.

I wonder if you have a intake manifold leak Just get a can of throttle body cleaner and spray it around the intake manifold gaskets with the engine running and see if the idle goes up... if it does, that gasket is leaking
