Default SLOW MOTION TROUBLE

Hi,
I've a PT CRUISER 2.0 TOURING AUTOMATIC, and I've a trouble with the slow motion. When I am in the traffic jams the slow motion falls has 600 towers/mn insteadof 800, I changed all the sensors, to chrysler says to me that there is no code error, have you an idea?
Thanks
Muriel

Welcome to the Forums.
I THINK what you are asking is about engine speed at idle, 600 vs 800 RPM.
If the car idles okay, what's the problem? If you have Air conditioning, it should go up if you turn it on.
Some general good ideas:
Change spark plugs and wires - and buy a good brand of wires.
Change the Air Filter
Put a bottle of Lucas Fuel Injector cleaner in the gas tank.

Glad you knew what Muriel was talking about Don. With a 2.0 L engine and English as a second language, it's possible that it's a diesel engine and has problems we're not familiar with. Never heard of the tachometer being called a "slow motion".

Thought of that, but diesels were 2.2L, and I think manual only.
I don't know what "towers/mn" would be, but it's about right for idle speed.
