Default It runs again

My son, wife and I changed out the plugs and wires tonight after #1 plug was loose and then threw a misfire code and CEL. Waited for the sun to go down even though its still hot in Mesa its bearable. Jury rigged the missing shifter linkage bushing until I can get replacements. I don't know how long its been missing but what we did improved it.

Started right up and no CEL or oil light and it idles nice. Turned on the AC and still idled fine. We will take it on a 30 mile rt commute to work and see what it does. I need to get a permanent fix for the shifter bushing.

I would have checked the popping sound sooner but I thought it was the front tires that are getting old so I ignored it. My Bad. I would also smell gas when the AC vent was on fresh air. Now I know. I am looking forward to October here so the heat isn't a factor so I can do more maintenance. We have about 84k on the car and we need to keep her running.

Oh, If anyone can direct me to low cost replacement backup left lens. Screw in. We called the stealer and they wanted $75 FOR THE WHOLE LIGHT. I just need the lens. Kid backed in to a trailer the wife left tool close!

Booger bushings for less than $25 shipped is the way to go for the shifter bushings! Chrysler will only sell the whole cable kit for $300 bucks...

Even eBay want just a little less for a reverse lights. Your best bet it to visit the nearest recycling yard. They should have a new lens or the whole light for a lot less.
