Again...to make the mod change do you cut the yellow wire with green ?
Art,

At the beginning of this thread, IRPT has put some great pictures of the wiring harness and the exact wire to be cut. Yes, it's the yellow wire with a thin green stripe.

Art, just to make you feel better, after reading alot of these posts regarding "the Burp Mod", many cruisers are alittle afraid of cutting that wire but once done I have never read anything but positive remarks. Go for it. Tomorrow is the weekend, report back your results. [?]

Thanks BIGDOGDAD, you are correct in the fear of cutting the wire, but if it is not working correctly I can splice it together.

Ive spoken to Mx-5 in person. And there is no way ( short of sending your computer to bell) that you can do that mod to the 03 cruiser. It bummed me out too!!

Nope! Just cut and drive

P.S. You might want to re-wrap the whole slew of wires with black electrical tape so it looks like nothing was done as I don't think the Chrysler dealer would look favorably at a bunch of bare wires with one of them cut in half.

It's the bundle of wires that runs along the firewall right in front/above the brake fluid reservoir. Check out the photos at the beginning of this thread. [8D]
