Take the PT out to a deserted road. Punch it and notice the shift from 1st to 2nd gear. Come back, snip the wire and take it out again to notice the difference in shifting. If you like the way it feels, wrap it up and smile. If you don't like it, put the wire back together, wrap it all up and it'll be just like you never did a thing.

Well I cut the wire and the tires break loose coming off the line, but the shift from 1st to 2nd feels the same. It seems to have more torque with no hesitation from a standining start. It's GREAT! Thanks for the mod and the patience with this senior citizen.

Art, you are not the only Senior Citizen on here. I guess it all depends at what age do you define "Senior". ME I'm 65 and I am having a "ball". The best is yet to come[^]!!!!!

The big 60 when the next rolls around, but like you Hooligan, having a blast. Too bad retirement didn't come around sooner.

I just snipped that wire. I had a little trouble getting that black thing around it off, but it was fine. It wasnt as good as I thought, but i did like that second gear started at about 4000 rpms instead of like 2000 before. I do feel it a little bit, and Im sure itll help 0-60 and 1/4 mile times, but lower fuel economy because i know my foot's gonna be on the floor even more often now.
