Default MX-5 'Burp -Free' Mod. Procedure

Been meaning to do this for some time, finally got a round to it today. Man, what a difference! Thanks MX-5, great free mod.

With this modification you won't experience any fault codes and or a check engine light. The shifts are quick and hard (like they should be). With the snappy shifts, the car will be a little faster.

If you are unfamilar with this procedure check out this link:

Can I assume that the 41TE is the ONLY auto transmission built for the '01 & '02 [:I] ?

Well, I did the MX-5 improvement over the weekend. I can really notice the difference in the pickup between 1 & 2, even seems quicker in drive. Thanks MX-5 .

I have persoanlly cut the wire in nearly 100 PTs!
Many of them at www.cruisethefalls.com last summer.
Everyone is happy.
I researched and tested this for 6 months prior to posting about a FREE performance mod on the 'net. Many think I should have sold the mod kit for profit, like the resistor trick mods on E-Bay. BTW, they don't work, mine does.

All it changes is the shift. It disables the timing retard and the injector kill during the split second of the shift.
