I have a Hedman 4 into 2 into 1 header ordered and wanted to know if anyone else knew what I could expect for an installation charge? The local shop I've been using charges $70 per hour which seems fairly reasonable but here's the catch. The dealer I'm buying the header from said I should expect about 1 to 1 1/2 hour installation time. The shop I use said they couldn't give me an exact estimate but said it might take between 4 to 5 hours to install. Ouch!! Five hours at $70 per hour seems a mite high. Anywise, have any of you had an aftermarket header installed by a shop and if so what was the cost? And if anyone installed the header themselves, how long did it take and what sort of problems did you run into? Any advice anyone can provide me will really be appreciated.

Where I got mine installed, they kept the car for a few days to put it in but didn't charge for every hour there...they just got around to it, I guess. Install wasn't cheap.
