Default who has the better pt???

so now that im at college in philly area going home or back to school the gps takes me up over huge mountains. my little base model auto pt seems to struggle sometimes. my pt has 108... miles on it. not bad but still pretty high. i was wondering if there was anything i should or can do. such as a fluid flush or additives or even if there is an little mods in the tranny itself that i can do? are all the pt trannys the same basically. just the difference from the autostick manual and auto right? nothing different in the touring or turbo edition trannys?

Doing the airbox mod and K&N dropin in mine made it a little stronger on big hills.

All the tranny's are the same except as you noted. Best thing you can do is keep it tuned up. Clean, smooth, cool air coming in and a free flow exhaust. Less weight helps so if you aren't using you back seats, they weight close to 100lbs., take them out. A few extra pounds in the tires for better gas mileage and less rolling resistance.

BTW, what's that have to do with who has the better car?

i didnt know if there was a difference in pts. im going to universal technical institute for auto. after graduation on november 9th next year i plan to do a pt turbo swap. gonna take out the na engine. do a flush and all new oil in the tranny, and build the engine how i want it. it will be the turbo engine i buy to rebuild and then ill scrap the na. im planning on switching all down to the pistons and the heads and every thing out for high pressure and faster and what ever else you want to call it. i just didnt know if the trannys were different. whats the auto stick tranny. sounds cool and ive heard of it in different cars. hows it work???

...and you should have one in your Dreamer, so explain how it works to bhunt41. It's like a stick only without a clutch, right?
