Default metal heater core coolant tubes

Hi,

Does anybody know of a source to get a replacement set of heater core cooling metal tubes. They route around the front of the engine from the water pump inlet spout. (pictures below)

I'm unable to find them online, so I guess the only remaining route is Chrysler dealer.

Has anyone tried running hoses for the entire length?

My '98 Neon had a very similar set up as out PT's. Mine rusted out on the Neon and with that car I ran 2 heater hoses from engine (thermostat housing and water pump to heater core. Never had a problem and a heck of a lot cheaper.

Yep! They're always on the way on Neon.

Bendable Copper pipe and insulate, or sandblast, braze holes, refinish

Geeze, I can see the advantages of owning a car in California. My tubes--and most of the car, for that matter--have very little rust.

Mine were only slightly rusted at the ends (Hard Coolant Lines). I just wire brushed, sanded and painted the ends with high temp paint.

I was not able to find aftermarket parts. Besides the dealer, you're looking at fabricating your own as other posts suggested or finding a decent one at salvage yard.

I think I'm going to go the bendable copper pipe route to rubber hose the entire length. Thanks for the advice...
