Default Squeeking sound/ timing belt?

I jave a 2005 pt with 88000 miles. I just had the timing belt and water pump replaced after it had broke on me. It been about a month, the car run ok, bun whenever I press on the gas I hear a squeeking sound. I took it back to the shop they said they didnt hear anything, It was intermittent at first but no seems like it does it all the time, Any suggestions?

That is likely to be the alternator belt, or the AC/Power Steering belt. The timing belt is toothed and cannot slip (heh, well - if it does you'll know right away!)

After both my PTs had timing belts done (and thus the accessory belts removed) they were in very good shape and I re-used them, both started squealing at random. Replaced them with new belts and all is well.

Both belts cost about ten bucks each and are not too difficult to replace yourself....

Wouldn't worry about it.
Prolly got grease on it, or didn't adjust alternator up tight.

See volume knob on radio?
