Default PT is acting weird when A/C is on

My wife's '04 PT is having A/C problem. Every time the car sits for a period of time and then started with A/C on, RPM's will fluctuate and drop below 500 and the car would stall. Has anyone else experienced this problem before?

Remove the IAC Valve (it's the black thing connected to the upper portion of your throttle body closest to your firewall) and clean it.

Are you getting any engine codes at all?

Thanks! I'll try that. There are no codes.

Did my suggestion work?

Cleaning or replacing it (with an OEM-type) should fix it.

You didn't say anything about the car overheating so I'm pretty sure it's the IAC valve.
