Smile Fuse #23

I have curiosity as of what does Fuse #23 "ENG ESD Relay Feed 3" means and what does it do. Any information provided will be greatly appreciated......

It's ENG ASD Relay fuse 3, not ESD! The other side of the ASD relay is fuse 18. The relay has three control feeds, if you look you should see two others, labled fuse 2 and fuse 1.

ASD Relay is the Auto ShutDown relay. The camshaft position sensor and crankshaft position sensor signals are sent to the PCM. If the PCM does not receive the signal within approximately 1 second of engine cranking, it deactivates the ASD relay and fuel pump control. When the relay/control is deactivated, power is shut off from the fuel injectors, ignition coils, oxygen sensor heating elements and fuel pump.

So, the ASD relay controls power to your fuel injectors, ignition coils, etc.

Chrome,

My response was for the ESD that was originally asked, but after reading your better answer that it was the ASD, I didn't think it was needed anymore.
