Default Need Help Transmission

I have a "01 PT Cruiser. I had the clutch replaced about 5 months ago. The shop that did it did not replace the throw out (?) bearing. I have another mechanic who also stated they did not replace the transmission oil and the transmission has no leaks. It has cost quite a bit of damage to my transmission due to the oil. Now if they filled the transmission oil when they replaced the clutch should I be having any problems now with it?

im not sure what you are asking but when we do a cluck the throw out bearing is ALWAYS included its like not doing a slave cylinder kind of dumb and will usually bite you im not sure why the oil would be changed unless there was a leak and if there was a leak the tranny should have been serviced as well at the same time I mean it was already OUT of the car

keep in mind unless the tranny leaks it is a sealed system and other than just a change to refresh the oil its not like the engin or even like a auto tranny it is just there to lube and cool the gears

What type of damage???
Daddy is correct in that TOB is replaced with clutch.

I also don't fully understand sequence of what occurred.

I'd strongly suggest installing Differential Saver Tabs anytime transmission is removed. It's actually fairly simple with mechanic's tools.

OE Pin and tabs on right ready to install.

Here's why:

At some point, Chrysler started installing tabs, you cannot get the old pin, your only choice when servicing it is to install tabs in old transmissions.
