Default cruise control

remington here.Buttercup has a problem with her crruise control. I had to replace her battery and about that time I was unablee to turn on cruise. Unhooked the grounds to see if that would reset computer. Checked error codes--done was the result. The only time i can get the cruise lite on is when I am parked and the wheel is cranked to the right. Which switch may b
be bad?? iHalp!
Bc and I thank you

OK, I cold be more of a help if it was a 2001-2005. After that Chrysler changed the electrics, fuses and relays.

The only thing I can tell you, and you gave a hint saying you can get it to work when you turn the wheel, is that the Multi-function stalk and the stalk that controls the cruise control, both have the wiring harness that runs down the steering column. A few owners that reported problems with electrics, like the radio intermittent, have found that the wiring harness was pinched, stretched and sometimes separated at the junction down under the column covers. The column covers come off pretty easily and you can access the wiring harness and shake, pull and wiggle the harness to see if it makes a difference in getting you cruise control to work. If you have the adjustable steering wheel, go up and down with that too to see if it makes any difference. By going up and down, your also moving the harness.
