It's the camshaft sensor that might be giving you the problems with starting. Although I have seen personally where the oil pressure sensor light was on and the car wouldn't start. When was the last time the plugs and wires were changed. They will make it hard to start if they need replacing.

Anyway. Only use Chrysler parts for anything electrical.

yeah I checked the oil yesterday a tad low..I am getting an oil change soon..However the starting problem has been oing on for a bit now a couple months..the last big check up was about 2 years ago..replaced battery, spark plugs all that..

I will change that cam sensor auto zone is down the street..hopefully that will do it....

should I bother with the Oil pressure sensor first or the Cam sensor?

could it be the battery is going, thats why it's having trouble starting?? sometimes it fires up fine other times not so..

If there is ANY doubt about your charging system or your battery, I would still suggest a visit to AutoZone or Advance Auto and have them do their tests. They are real time savers. I don't have any way to test individual cells nor do I have a load test unit to test the alternator, so whenever I get an issue related to electrical, if it's not apparently obvious I go get the free check from one of these guys!
