Default raidator fluid level

Should I be able to see fluid when I remove the radiator cap? I drove a pickup and a Jeep before and I could always see the fluid in the radiator. My car isn't over heating or anything was just curious about not being able to see fluid when I remove the cap. Thanks.

Fill it up!

A weak/old radiator cap will allow the fluid to go to the over throw tank but don't let it return. You might want to check the condition of the cap.
