Default door lock question

I'm new to the board.
I have a 2001 PT Cruiser LE that I just purchased.

My question is about the power locks/keyless entry. Does anyone know of a way to make it so that you only have to hit the unlock button (on the remote) once to unlock all doors and the hatch rather than once for the driver's door then again for the rest of them?

Thanks in advance,

Jason

Refer to your owners manual. It has instructions to change the locks to a one touch setup

Thanks, I didn't think that it would be that simple. I figured it would be a wireing mod or something like that. Thanks again.

jleforte, welcome to the forum.
Thanks!

I'll be around alot. I'm sure I'll have many other questions and I'm always looking for Mods.

I use to own a Sunfire that was pretty modded but on xmas day we were in an accident and wrote off the car. No one was hurt and we were looking for a new vehicle anyway so it's all good. We are very happy with our PT so far.

Cheers,

Jason

on that subject, anyone know how i would go about getting a keyless remote. I have keyless entry for sure, after i pulled the dash cover today to do the speakers i seen the remote entry receiver. Problem is the dealer i bought it from took it as a trade in and never got the remote.

so here i sit with keyless entry and no way to use it. think i can pull the numbers off the unit and get a replacement remote?

N/m I just found my answer on ebay no less. universal chrysler remote, says you can program for your vehicle jst check in teh owners manual, damn if it didnt tell me how in the manual. now all i gotta do is get a remote and i'll be good to go
