1.) Depressing the trip knob while turning on the ignition runs the gauges through a series of tests. At the end, the odometer should read "no faults" I get 3 error codes: FL0008, EE08, bL01.
DOES ANYONE KNOW THE MEANING OF THESE CODES? Chrysler will not tell me. They are not listed in the internet list. 2.) My Temp. Gauge never goes above 50%, even when climbing a mountain in 95 Deg. weather. Is this normal? |

I tried to look up those codes in my '02 service Manual but could not find any of them listed. Have you talked to the service manager at your dealer about them?

Just as CTFrank indicated, the codes are not listed in the 2002 service manual. Ours, too, is an automatic and displays the same codes at the end of the test. Did you realize that after the odometer displays all segments as 0 thru 9 it then displays the last 6 digits of your VIN? Also, nowhere in the manual did it indicate the display should read "no faults". Where did you get this info from? The display will read "done" at the end of the diagonstic trouble codes test.
Good luck and let us know if you find out what they mean. John & Terry 2002 Inferno Red Touring Edition |
