Default Grounding sites for gauges

Anyone have a suggestion that is a good solid ground?
Either side of firewall.
Thanks.

You can always ground to the strut tower, also the grounding point where the hood grounding strap is located.

k. thx

I ran the grounds back through the firewall and to the hood ground straps equal opposite on the drivers side. I used the 10mm bolt along the fender right behind the hinge mount for the hood.

I grounded to the side of the fuse box, large black screw holds fuse box to metal frame of car.

umm looks like aircraft cables to me, or clothe's line!
but yes a good ground makes a difference, like i said in the wrx forums it's a known problem, they scrape away the paint under all ground locations...

punch

also, ground cables should be Black (sometimes green), not red/blue etc....
