Default Hazards and Turn signals out.

Hey there,

I took my car to get its oil changed and they told me the back turn signals were out. So I went to go get new bulbs, but I had my husband check them first. Looked good. Then we realized the front blinkers arent working and the hazards arent working either.

I have looked at the fuse box, with the guide to everything and can not find the right fuse, or relay. Anyone know where to find this? I dont have a hidden one under my dash like every other car I've had. Sometimes fixing stuff on this car just gets on my nerves.

Everything is different between the 01-05 and 06+ cruisers. You have to tell us what you have to get an answer.

OK, looked at your posted pictures. You have the second generation.

You might just have a burnt out flasher unit. Located, and attached to the MFS (Multifuction Switch) on the steering column.

Looking through the fuse and relay list, there doesn't seem to be a separate fuse or relay in the IPM (fuse box) for your model.

So I have just been using hand signals recently, but I am about to try these instructions I found on a website from my local library. I figured I would share them since they are more specific to a 2006 than anything else I have seen.

The website was : EBSCOhost - world’s foremost premium research database service although I am not sure if it works without a library card.

and this is a description of what the multi-function switch does

Thats what I figured would happen. Thats why I took the time to copy, edit, and post what I found, so hopefully it may help others.
