Default 06 Shift problem

I have a 06 pt cruiser auto trans. Last few weeks was getting harder to shift into park and yesterday was so hard I pushed a lil too hard and broke the top of the white shifter assembly frame the cable sits in. I found that out after I removed the console. I removed the battery, filter and checked the trans and it moves easy and no probs shifting into the other gears so I don't think it's a trans problem, maybe just the shifter cable. I do need to replace the white frame the gear shifter sits on since it broke. I included a photo with red arrow pointing to the frame. Its a white plastic type frame, kind of cheap looking.
Would anyone agree that it's the shifter cable? read thru a few threads and not sure about a shift solenoid or computer upgrade... Anyplace I can order the white frame?
