Default Downstream O2 sensor

Does anyone know if there is a difference in the downstream oxygen sensors for early pt's compared to later (2005+) models. I've been looking locally for a replacement sensor but some places are telling me that 2001/02 models are different to 2003/05 models.

Also in the UK the pt had a facelift in 2006 (I think it will be the same in the US). I'm not sure if I can get a sensor for a new model and fit it to my pre facelift 2005.

Problem is some parts stores simply list "Lambda sensor - pt cruiser" and have no year against it.

I believe the connectors might be the only difference. Check Rockauto.com, they have good illustrations of available O2's....

I got hold of a downstream o2 sensor for a 2003 PT and it fits my 05 car. So far no problems with it.
