well ive got it running today was a fluke though i was having a look under the bonnet see if i had missed anything and it started to rain but just as i was packing up i heard a hissing noise like water on a hot surface had a closer look and found that the wiring loom behind right hand head light had worn through cutting a few wires along the way so i solderd them back together and she runs again happy again hope this is of some help to others

Sorry nobody else was here to help the first time. We couldn't have diagnosed the problem you found anyway. Most of the time, a no start condition leads us to tell you to check the fuel and spark. The wiring loom is something we can't guess at over the Internet. Glad your back and running.

Thanks for the update!!!
This would take a lot of time to find, and make people pull their hair out and drink otherwise!
