Timken was known for 'timken' (aka tapered roller) bearings.
I believe they're US made, but it unfortunate these things change

I'd get Timkens if it were up to flippin a coin

I tried Timkens and one only lasted 6 months...I changed for another one ( under a two year warranty ) and they gave me a National bearing...BUT it was made in China...LOL

Timken bearings are manufactured all over the world, from US to Mexico to Poland to England to Italy.

SKF bearings are also very good.
